I strike your minion, which is nearby the Drums. Then, you redirect the damage to a bodyguard (e.g. Royal Bodyguard, Sir Gawain), who is not nearby the Drums. Does your bodyguard take lethal damage?
No. If the minion actually being damaged is not near the Drums, the damage is not Lethal.
